Nature

Fall Foliage

I enjoy capturing smaller snapshots of nature, capturing the essence of a single moment. Usually bypassed by the human eye, an entire world thrives and grows within something as simple as a leaf. I like to keep nature undisturbed as I take pictures, in order not to interrupt the ecosystem.

Sunflowers are like small reflections of the sun itself— they even point towards the sun to grow.

Saucer Magnolia flowers on the property of Farmstead, Basking Ridge, NJ.

The center is so delicate, harboring the seeds to create new life. I like the way these flowers bloom around their seeds, creating a sort of shield from the outside world. Not all flowers do this; hibiscus flowers, for example, are wide open.
